With life to fight
Mickey Chen
台灣Taiwan / 2009 / Color / 71mins

This documentary is the last video masterpiece from Mickey Chen. And it’s also a World Premiere. A tribute to him for his kindness, caring, and dedication to Taiwan’s LGBTQI.
This documentary is also a video report from Mickey Chen's focus on the stigma and rights to Taiwan's Aids Patients between 1996-2008. During that time, most of Taiwanese and even some medical clinics discriminated Aids patient and even neglected their rights. However, it shows us there’re still some people fighting for their human rights, such as Wei Zhang, Li Yu, Sen-Jie Hsu and Human Rights groups. In addition to revealing the life experience of Aids patients, it also presents the story of Aids inmates in prison for the first time. Today, after more than 10 years later, how much have we changed our point-of-view or attitude towards Aids and the patients?
