兒子向母親出櫃前的幻想與實際發生時的情況產生細微落差。 跨出櫃子的壓力與不安倒映著當下社會中少數族群的處境。同理心是放下框架的鑰匙。導演運用古典的電影鏡頭語言搭配實驗性的敘事，點出亞洲社會正面臨的社會議題。
The son is building up his courage to come out to his mother. Although the mother accepts the fact as the son had expected, the vibe between them is totally different from how he imagined. The feeling of pressure and insecurity accompanied by the courage to come out of the closet reflects the social predicament facing the LGBTQ+ community in Asian society. Empathy is the key to overcome the hurdles.
