在日本生活25年的新加坡籍的國際明星御用攝影師紀嘉良，相當重視LGBTQI遭受歧視的狀況。2015年起，他開始在日本各地拍攝LGBTQI群像。但這個計畫的概念其實起源於他更早時在紐約所受到的衝擊。本片除了聚焦在紀嘉良的創作與生活，也紀錄了三個日本LGBTQI小人物的生命故事。紀嘉良曾在2018年來台拍攝「Out In Taiwan」計畫！

Photographer Leslie Kee has lived in Japan for 25 Years. He was the perfect match for the “Out In Japan”, aiming to eventually feature 10,000 LGBTQs throughout Japan. He feels that the time has come to push back against the pervasive prejudice and legal discrimination.
