「我在法國的電視製作公司工作，當初我想寫有關變裝皇后的故事。有一天我到夜店遇到一個變裝皇后，我們開始聊天同時我也一直在做筆記，我們甚至要約出來訪問更多問題。馬可知道這過程後就建議我們應該把這個田野調查的過程拍攝成紀錄片。《巴黎變裝皇后》這作品是這樣開始的」—— 《巴黎變裝皇后》導演：西蒙・維威耶



"I work in the tv production in France, and I wanted to write something about drag queen scenes but fictional. One night we went into a club, and I saw a drag queen. We started chatting, and I was taking notes. We plan to meet for more questions, then Marco suggested that we should do a documentary in my research. This is the beginning of how it all started." said director Simon Vivier of Queendom.

"We never actually thought about stop filming the documentary during COVID-19 because, for us, it would be a shame to lose the energy. When you create a project like this, you collaborate with other people; they are giving their time and energy to the film, you don't want to stop them. So it's more about how to film during the COVID instead of stopping the project. " said director Marco Novoa of Queendom.
